Floyd Central High School Project Overview

The General Trades Contractor is building temporary partitions for temporary classrooms and will soon be building the temporary wall dividing the existing building from the addition area.

The Mechanical Contractor has been investigating where to cut piping and cap lines.

The Fire Sprinkler Contractor has been investigating where to cut piping and cap lines.

The Electrical/Technology Contractor has been investigating where to cut power feeding the front section of the building in order for demolition to start

Work planned to be performed in the next several months:

1. Install temporary fencing and lay down area
2. Demolition of the two-story building in front of school
3. Relocating site utilities
4. Begin foundations on the two-story addition in front of school and the two-story addition for the new band area.
